Virtues of doing nothing

The day trade mentioned yesterday was not triggered at all. The gap up never happened and hence the sell call was not on. Yesterday was one of the more boring days in recent times. Nothing happened through the day. It would have required a great amount of will power to be able to sit through yesterday without putting on a trade.

Talking about willpower, people fail to see the incredible expenditure of effort and the iron will required--- to appear to do nothing. To the lay observer it might look like I am wasting my time but only I know the effort required to make it appear so!!!. I know you are thinking that I am making a virtue out of a weakness or a fault. So I will try and think of one example where doing nothing is a virtue. Ok got it. Have all of us not seen how easy it is to book profits in a winning trade? It takes great effort to do nothing and let the profits run!!!. I got another one. I have been accused in the past by clients of not being a good salesperson-even lazy and good for nothing. Little do they know the effort it took for me to NOT call them. I have been saving themselves from me and my trades!!!. Doesn't that take effort? To put their interests ahead of mine? ---I know man!!!--this example really takes the cake!!!

No changes in the trends of world markets. US continues to make a new calendar high. Commodities are still trended up in the short term and Dollar Index is still trended down. So really one needs to be long equities and commodities and then do ... yes ... nothing.
