Man proposes and God disposes or rather Nifty disposes in our case. I had hoped for an action packed day and all I got was more of the same slow drift of the last few days. The days of a 2% range from high to low seem to be a distant memory now. My reversal level for both STT and LTT was 5610.10 but the Nifty did not hit it. So another day of doing nothing.
By the way have you noticed that our confidence in our opinion on any issue is inversely proportional to the amount of introspection done? Remember I am talking about issues which have various possible opinions not scientific facts. The less time spent on introspection, the more confident we are about the rightness of our own opinion. For eg, the confidence with which one can give even an opinion like "All corrupt individuals should be given Capital Punishement" depends totally on the how little time one has spent introspecting.
Hey, that actually can be made into a nice law of human nature. Let us say Mahesh's First Law of Human Nature. I can state it in the form of this equation C is proportional to 1/T where C = Confidence in ones opinion and T= Time spent on introspection.
Maybe that is why you see so many confident opinions on business television. Other than a few people most people talk as if the market has personally come to them and whispered to their ears what it is going to do the next day.
Maybe that is why I should say that the reversal levels for Nifty for both STT and LTT remains 5610.10 and HOPEFULLY, if the levels get triggered there will be a rally of another 4-5%.
