"Remain"

I remain short on the Nifty. I cannot even begin to tell you what a pleasure it is to type the word "remain" in the previous sentence. It's implications are immense. For one, it means that I was short going into yesterday. It also implies that I did not have to cut my position yesterday basically meaning that I had a great time doing nothing yesterday. Finally it implies that my trade has gone right till now and I have been savoring  the sweet taste of MTM profits which feels particularly good because I have been forced to eat the bitter fruit of MTM losses for the past few days.

I know that my previous para is not going to make me very popular. A person who makes money when the market falls is never very popular but please grant me the pleasure of gloating just for now. Who knows it could all change and go wrong for me even today specially if some idiot in Europe manages to make some right noises.

If Nifty trades above 5176 then I will cut my short positions and go long. That level is far off and hopefully will not get triggered today granting me the pleasure of writing "remain" again tomorrow.
