Inspirational Quotes

I am sure that we all have at least a couple of people who insist on sending us some inspirational quote. If you are on one of the social network sites like FB or Twitter then you are surely inundated with them. Initially I found them slightly amusing but now downright irritating. For eg. I received this tweet today and I quote "Failure doesn't mean you are a failure.... it just means you haven't succeeded yet"

What the sender of the message is really saying is "Yeah true... you idiot. Wouldn't we all want you to believe this tripe and continue to do what you have been doing? Your failure actually makes us look better! If you actually take that message at face value and despite repeated failures, continue to do what you are doing then we have to appreciate your confidence and optimism. You are blessed because you are clearly born without any intelligence and therefore lack the ability to think. Only this can explain your persistence in whatever activity it is you are pursuing and your confidence and optimism in the face of brutal reality".

Ok you ask me what happens if someone actually follows the tripe, persists in his action and succeeds? Well, for what do you think have we devised the concept of LUCK? We can always blame it for the idiot's success!

And back to the markets, I am long from 4927 and will cut my long positions and go short below 4882. And btw, if I finally succeed in my activity of trading, you know what I will attribute it to!
